We will begin the design process with a Designer Consultation. This allows me to gain a better understanding of your needs and goals. The dedicated time roughly runs about an hour.

Designer Consultation

  • Define client goals
  • Determine use of existing furniture / function of space
  • Identify style / room review
  • Establish budget

After the initial Designer Consultation, we will review your project in much greater detail. A Design Development will cover various elements, depending on the budget and scope of the project. This is when the design process truly begins.

Design Development

  • Develop design concept including color schemes, furniture styles, finishes, & materials
  • Visit showrooms / design retailers to determine design concept and style
  • Select flooring, wall covering, paint, window coverings, lighting, furniture,
  • fabrics & accessories / accent pieces
  • Color & material inspiration board
  • Scaled furniture layout plan

Hello and thanks so much for stopping in!

Hello, my name is Cynthia. I have been married to my hubby, David, for 16 years and we have 2 beautiful girls; Madilyn and Allison. The best part of my job is that most of the time, it doesn’t feel like “work.” I love being able to take people out of the ordinary and allow them to see the potential of an existing space. At the end of the day, I know that I am one blessed gal!

I knew from a very young age that the left side of my brain functioned about 10% of the time, while the right side would be on overload. I took over the duties of decorating the family Christmas tree in elementary school, and wallpapered my bedroom on my own in high school. It’s no surprise that after our daughter’s started elementary school, I decided to enroll in design school.

What I love most about what I do is taking a space and creating something that is stylish, beautiful, and functional. Many times, we use existing pieces and just add some elements to make it look amazing.

Throughout the years, I have realized that there are many myths and fears out there about interior design. The biggest myth is that you have to spend a fortune to make your home beautiful. Decorating can be as simple as changing photo frames or as lavish as purchasing designer pieces to furnish your entire home. No job is too overwhelming or enormous. My rule of thumb is tackle one room at a time.

I find that I am constantly evolving even with my own sense of style. The bottom line for me is that design is creating spaces in your home and filling them with things that you love, whether it is a priceless photo of your children, or a dining table that you have always dreamed of owning. Design is your own “spin” on what looks and feels good to you. It is a place where each person who enters, feels a sense of warmth, peace, and beauty.

I look forward to getting you there!
